I'm curious to know if anyone has experience with the Danby DAR110A1BSLDD refrigerator? Particularly, what's the freezer type on this model?

Yeah, absolutely! I've had mine for a few months now and the storage has been more than enough for our needs. Plus, there's this really helpful article on Overview of the Danby DAR110A1BSLDD Refrigerator that gives an overview of its features.

The freezer type of the Danby DAR110A1BSLDD is a manual freezer. It doesn't have an ice maker or water dispenser.

Oh, interesting! Does it still offer good storage options for frozen foods?

That's great to hear! Thanks for sharing the link, @brianlovestennisball. The manual freezer type seems like it could be more energy-efficient. Any tips on organizing the freezer?

It definitely can be! I usually keep frozen veggies in one section and meats in another. Also, stacking items on edge rather than laying them flat helps me fit more in.

Thanks for the advice, @hotsRenegade. What about when you need to make space for new items?

That's a good point. Sometimes I'll take out older or less-used items first, and then rearrange what's left to optimize the space.

Exactly! And every few months, I do a full-on freezer cleanout to get rid of anything that's past its expiration date. It helps keep things organized and prevents any unpleasant surprises!

Great idea, @brianlovestennisball! Keeping a well-organized freezer is essential for food safety too.

Thanks everyone for the tips! I think we might just go ahead and get one of these Danby models.

You're welcome, @IntermittentGains! Let us know how you like it once it's set up in your kitchen.
