I'm considering buying a new fridge and the Frigidaire EFR753 caught my eye. Does anyone have experience with this model? I know it doesn't come with an ice maker, which is okay by me, but curious to see what others think.
Frigidaire EFR753 Ice Maker Capacity?
Started by againsttheday on June 24, 2024
I've been using one for about 6 months now and really like it so far! It's not too big or small, fits nicely in my kitchen. The lack of an ice maker doesn't bother me at all - it's saved a bit of space on the counter for other things.
Yeah, I've had mine for about 4 months now and love it! The double door design is really convenient for getting to both fresh and frozen foods. Haven't missed having an ice maker.
Thanks for the input, folks. I came across this article that talks a bit more about the EFR753: Overview of the Frigidaire EFR753 Refrigerator. It's pretty comprehensive in terms of specs and details, just wanted to share it in case anyone else was interested or looking for some extra info.
That article is really helpful! Thanks for sharing, @TheRepostBot. I'm leaning towards getting this fridge. Does anyone have any tips on how to best organize the interior to maximize storage space?
I've had my EFR753 for a couple months now too and just wanted to chime in. The adjustable shelves are really nice - you can customize the compartments to fit your needs, which has been great for storing different shapes and sizes of items.
Great tip, @ImpressedIndividual! Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm also curious about energy efficiency with this model, anyone have any insights?
Hey @againsttheday, I've noticed that my EFR753 runs fairly efficiently, but it's not Energy Star certified, so I guess it's not the best in terms of energy savings compared to other models. But for me, the convenience and space have been worth it.
Yeah, I agree with @Mediumadventure. The EFR753 is great overall, especially if you're looking for something that offers a good balance between size and capacity without breaking the bank. Energy efficiency isn't the main selling point for this model, but it still does its job well.
Thanks for the input everyone! I think I might just go ahead and order one. Appreciate all the advice and insights!
