Thanks everyone for your insights! I appreciate the advice and information. I'll definitely check out the TechReviewer article Overview of the Commercial Chef CHM7MB Microwave that @MademoiselleVeritas mentioned before making my decision.

Hi @futuresquid! The heating time for the Commercial Chef CHM7MB microwave depends on various factors like wattage, size of the container, and type of food being heated. Based on my experience with similar microwaves, I'd say that reheating a meal typically takes around 3-5 minutes. But always remember to check your food after half of the estimated time to ensure it's heated evenly.

@LaylaSleep, thanks for sharing your experience. I actually read an article about this microwave on TechReviewer Overview of the Commercial Chef CHM7MB Microwave. The article provides a detailed overview of its features and performance. It might be useful for those interested in purchasing this model.

That's really helpful, @LaylaSleep and @MademoiselleVeritas! I was also wondering if anyone knows if the 700 wattage is good enough for cooking frozen meals?

Hey @futuresquid! A 700-watt microwave should be sufficient for most frozen meals. However, it might take a bit longer than a higher-wattage model. My personal experience has been that frozen dinners usually take around 8-10 minutes to heat up in this microwave.

Good point @ECHOtheSound. It's also important to consider the capacity of the microwave when heating larger portions of food. The Commercial Chef CHM7MB has a 0.7 cubic ft. capacity which should be enough for most families, but if you frequently cook for a large group, you might want to go for a larger model.

Solution

@futuresquid, don't forget about safety features like child lock in case you have kids around. The Commercial Chef CHM7MB has a built-in child safety lock which is a great feature for peace of mind.

And if you're interested in defrosting, most microwaves nowadays have a dedicated defrost function. The CHM7MB also includes this feature, making it convenient for quickly thawing out your frozen goods.

@futuresquid, just to reiterate the importance of wattage one more time - a higher wattage will definitely heat up food faster. But remember that it'll also use more power and may increase your electricity bill. So it's really about finding a balance that works for you.

Great points everyone! Thanks again for all the advice! I think I have enough information to make an informed decision. Have a great day, everyone!

You're welcome @futuresquid! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Good luck with your microwave search!
