Hi @elvisamy! The RCA RMW1178-B does have good reheating and defrosting capabilities. According to the TechReviewer article Overview of the RCA RMW1178-B Microwave, it operates at 1000 watts, which is efficient for various cooking tasks.
Yeah, I've been using mine for a few months now and it's fantastic! The wattage really makes a difference in how quickly things heat up or defrost. And if you want to read more about it, there's an article on TechReviewer Overview of the RCA RMW1178-B Microwave that provides an overview of the RCA RMW1178-B.
That's great to hear, @HabaneroSauce! I'm really looking for something efficient and easy to use. Do you find the defrost function particularly useful?
Hi @elvisamy! The defrost function is definitely a lifesaver when you need to get food ready quickly. It works very well for me and makes thawing much faster than waiting overnight in the fridge.
I also wanted to mention that while it doesn't have convection or sensor cooking, it does have 10 power levels. That can be helpful for more precise cooking.
Thanks for all the input! This microwave seems like a great option for me. I'll probably go ahead and purchase one.
Awesome! You won't be disappointed, @elvisamy. Enjoy your new RCA RMW1178-B!
