I'm considering getting a new microwave and came across the Panasonic NN-SN686S. Anyone have any experience with this model or have some recommendations?
Panasonic NN-SN686S Microw. Features to Prioritize?

The only one I've used is my old one but it's been serving me well for years! I think wattage plays a huge role in choosing a good microwave, so go for a higher wattage if you can afford it.
Yeah, and don't forget about the size of your family. If you have a big family, consider getting a larger capacity. The 1.2 cubic ft capacity might be too small if you need to cook or reheat bigger meals.
I've used the Panasonic NN-SN686S before, and it's really great! One feature I found particularly useful was the sensor cooking. It's very convenient for when you're in a hurry or don't want to keep checking your food. That sounds nice! Thanks for sharing your experience, @Matt3124. I'm also curious about the turntable diameter and how it affects cooking. Does having a larger turntable make a difference?
It can actually, @Rickkets. A larger turntable allows you to cook bigger dishes or heat family-sized portions more effectively.
Oh, that's good to know! I didn't realize the turntable was so important. What about wattage and cooking time? Do higher wattages cook faster?
Yes, generally speaking, a higher wattage will result in faster cooking times. It's also more efficient for defrosting.
Alright, I see. Thanks everyone for the advice! I'll definitely take all of this into consideration when making my decision.
