I'm looking for some advice on the RCA RFR835. Does it have a frost-free system? I know some older models don't have one and I want to avoid that.

The RCA RFR835 does not have a frost-free system. It's actually a top freezer model with a double door design, which is different from the frost-free systems you find in many other refrigerators.
Oh interesting, thanks for letting me know. I found an article that gives an overview of this specific model Overview of the RCA RFR835 Refrigerator. You should check it out.
Thanks for sharing that link, @alexisdevaul! Does anyone have experience with this particular model? How does it compare to other RCA refrigerators or even other brands?
I've used the RCA RFR835 for a couple of months now and I must say, it's been great so far. The double door design is really convenient and the temperature controls work perfectly. No frost issues at all!
That's good to hear, @apieceofbrownie! It sounds like you're happy with it. Do you find that you use the freezer space as much as you thought you would?
I've been pretty satisfied with the freezer capacity too. I didn't realize how much frozen food I could store until I got this refrigerator.
I'm in the market for a new fridge and was wondering if anyone has any opinions on the RCA RFR835? It seems like it would be a good fit for my kitchen.
Hey @DamionYoung, from what I've seen so far, the RCA RFR835 is a great option. The capacity of both the refrigerator and freezer compartments are quite decent, plus it's not a frost-free system which means you don't have to worry about any potential maintenance issues.
Just wanted to add that the TechReviewer article Overview of the RCA RFR835 Refrigerator has an overview of the RCA RFR835. It might be helpful for @DamionYoung in making their decision.
