RCA RMW953 for Large Families?

Started by Timecompass on June 29, 2024

I'm considering the RCA RMW953-BLACK microwave but I have a large family. Do you think this would be enough for us? I usually cook for about 6-7 people at once.

I've been using the RCA RMW953-BLACK for about a month now, and I must say that it works great! The 900 watts make quick work of heating up larger dishes, and the 0.9 cubic feet capacity holds enough for our small family. However, I can see how it might be a bit too small for a family of six or seven. There's an article on TechReviewer comparing different microwaves, which has some great suggestions for larger families - Overview of the RCA RMW953-BLACK Microwave. The RCA RMW953-BLACK should work fine for medium-sized families like ours. It's got a decent capacity and wattage for cooking larger meals, although it might struggle with very large portions. Plus, the turntable diameter is pretty big too.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely take a look at that article. Appreciate your input.

Yeah, we also have a small family and we're quite happy with our RCA RMW953-BLACK microwave. It's efficient in heating up meals quickly and has enough space to accommodate larger dishes as well.

I agree, it's really good for smaller families or individuals living alone. But if you have a larger family, maybe look into other options like the one mentioned in the TechReviewer article that @Maya1010 recommended.

Good advice! Thanks everyone for your input.
