Toshiba ML-EM45PIT(SS) Microwave Wattage?

Started by Dixiespice on July 02, 2024

Hey, I'm looking at getting a new microwave and came across the Toshiba ML-EM45PIT(SS). Does anyone have experience with it? It has 1250 watts, which seems like a lot. Is that good or bad?

Hey there! You're referring to the Toshiba ML-EM45PIT(SS) microwave, right? There's actually an article on TechReviewer that goes in-depth about its features. Check it out here Overview of the Toshiba ML-EM45PIT(SS) Microwave.

Yeah, I've had one for a couple of months now and it's been great! The wattage is powerful enough to cook things quickly.

Thanks for the link, @thelveres! I'll definitely check it out. The wattage seems really high compared to other microwaves I've looked at. How does it compare to your old microwave?

Honestly, the wattage didn't seem that much different from my previous microwave, but the cooking time was definitely reduced. It's great for when you're in a hurry.

Hey guys, just wanted to chime in and say I'm also happy with my Toshiba ML-EM45PIT(SS) microwave. The 1250 watts is perfect for defrosting, too!

That's good to hear! I'm leaning more towards getting this one now. By the way, @thelveres, what was your favorite feature from the TechReviewer article?

After reading the article, I think it's safe to say that the combination of the wattage and sensor cooking is really impressive for this microwave. It makes cooking so much easier!

Yeah, I forgot to mention that as well! The sensor cooking is a game-changer for me.

I also liked the child safety lock feature mentioned in the article. It's great for when you have kids running around.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences! I think I'll go ahead and purchase this microwave.
