I'm considering the Frigidaire FRPE3134AM and was wondering if anyone knows whether you can use custom containers in the compartments? I've seen some reviews online that say it's not possible.
Using Custom Containers in Frigidaire FRPE3134AM Compartments?
Started by Vilhelmgg on June 29, 2024
@Vilhelmgg, I don't think so. The refrigerator has specific dimensions for its compartments, which are designed to accommodate standard-sized food storage containers. As such, using custom or personal containers might not be feasible without some modifications to the compartment itself.
That's true, @booksandbloggin. Plus, if you were to modify it yourself, there could be a risk of damaging the appliance or voiding the warranty.
You can check out this TechReviewer article Overview of the Frigidaire FRPE3134AM Refrigerator for more information on the FRPE3134AM. It provides an overview of the refrigerator and its specifications, including details about storage capacity and compartment dimensions.
Thanks for the info, guys! I'll definitely take a look at that article. But just out of curiosity, has anyone tried using custom containers in their Frigidaire FRPE3134AM?
@Vilhelmgg, I haven't personally tried it, but I've heard from a friend who owns one that they were unable to use custom containers due to the limited space and specific dimensions of the compartments.
I can vouch for what @booksandbloggin said. I own a Frigidaire FRPE3134AM and have tried using custom-sized containers in the compartments, but it just doesn't work. The compartments are quite rigid in terms of size, so standard-sized containers fit better.
Alright, thanks everyone! I think I'll stick with standard-sized containers then. Appreciate all the help!
No problem, @Vilhelmgg! If you have any other questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask. Have a great day!
